Dr. Jeroen Vos is an associate professor at the Water Resources Management Group of Wageningen University. His research combines technical analysis with institutional, legal, social and economic concepts to examine water governance with a political ecological approach. He participates in various projects that study the organisation of water governance at river basin level: Riverhood, River basin councils in Peru, and River Commons. From 2002-2009, he worked in Bolivia and Peru as water governance advisor with Dutch, British and German development cooperation organisations, where he advised local governments and farmers organisations. He has published on a variety of water governance issues.
